Research Interests:
I have been a graduate student in the ADC since May of 2010. My previous work focused on specific components of the SOS response that enable Escherichia coli to survive fluoroquinolone treatment. My current work focus on the role of energy depletion in antibiotic tolerance caused by SOS-induced respiration shutoff and the toxic peptide TisB.
