These awards are presented by the Graduate and Professional Student Association and the Office of the Provost.
Fulbright U.S. Student Award
Jesse Fenichel, doctoral candidate in sociology
Jesse’s research project will be the first sociological study of the legal-process-outsourcing industry in the Philippines. It will provide a descriptive account of the industry and examine its possible consequences for the legal field in the Philippines and the U.S. His research, based in Manila, will include the collection of quantitative data and interviews with individuals in the Philippine legal field.
