Award Recipient

Kathryn RobinsonKathryn Robinson, doctoral candidate in nursing

Kathryn has earned this recognition based on her ongoing initiative to form iRise, the very first student-driven interprofessional organization at Northeastern. Using knowledge acquired through academic courses and clinical experiences, she hopes to teach and mentor the next generation of healthcare professionals about interprofessional education with a focus on team-based, patientcentered care, while increasing awareness within the surrounding communities. Kathryn leads iRise on her own time because of her passion for patient care and patient rights. She is well recognized by her peers as “an inspiration” and “a motivational leader.”
