Soul on Fire Symposium

Soul on Fire rekindles James Baldwin’s historic play and catalytic term for activists during the Civil Rights Movement.  Through this symposium we hope to kindle similar “souls on fire” by discussing the roles that graduate and professional students of color play in creating systemic change.   The symposium will feature a public address from our keynote speaker, Charlotte Golar Richie.  Ms. Richie is a former Massachusetts State representative and was the lead minority candidate in the 2012 Boston Mayoral Race.
