Asian American Center

Leadership

The Asian American Center is a division of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs at Northeastern. A component of Academic and Cultural Enrichment Services (ACES), the Center complements the services and programs provided by the African American Institute, the Latino/a Student Cultural Center, the International Student and Scholar Institute (ISSI), Disability Resource Center, and Student Support Services. There exists a Board of Advisors for the Asian American Center that consists of 14 members. The purpose of the board is to strengthen the Center’s network, and to provide advice and counsel in regards to strategic planning and continued growth of the organization. In addition, there is also a student advisory board to the Center, known as the Pan Asian American Council (PAAC). The Pan Asian American Council serves as a critical component of student outreach and communication at Northeastern. The Council is responsible for bringing forth pertinent issues, concerns, and ideas that should be addressed by the Asian American Center. The Council will be given the responsibility of planning and executing specific activities and initiatives, and to engage the Northeastern community in those activities.
