Asian American Heritage Week 2010: Multiple Layers, Multiple Identities

Asian American Heritage Week is held each year in February. While Asian American Heritage Month is
traditionally celebrated in May, we celebrate in
February to give our community an opportunity to fully
participate in and enjoy the week of events.

AASIA Program Coordinator Position Opening 2010-2011

The Asian American Center is currently seeking to hire an undergraduate student to serve as Program Coordinator for its Asian American Students in Action (AASIA) Peer Mentoring Program for the 2010-2011 school year. For a more detailed description of the AASIA Program Coordinator Position, click here.

New Study Group Resource @ the AAC!

The Center is offering a new academic study group resource to students. Students who need help in the following areas are welcome to walk-in to seek help from a peer.

Calculus & Physics
General help with math from pre-calculus to calculus III and with physics I & II.

Day: Wednesdays
Time: 11:45am - 1:15pm
Location: AAC 2nd Floor Conference Room

Writing
General help with brainstorming, topic development, proof reading, or reading comprehension from first year writing to advanced writing in the disciplines.

Day: Thursdays
Time: 3:00-4:30pm
Location: AAC 2nd Floor Conference Room
