Associate to Master’s (A2M) Programs at Northeastern University

Driven by the mission to expand access to higher education, Northeastern’s associate to master’s (A2M) programs offer life-changing experiences to students by providing accessible, community-oriented, and career-focused educational pathways. They empower individuals with some college credit to earn their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a flexible and supportive format, enabling them to advance their careers in in-demand fields.

Affordability is a cornerstone of A2M. Students in these programs may receive multifaceted support on their path to earning a degree, depending on need and availability. These services include career, academic, and financial advising; textbooks; transportation; childcare vouchers; computers and other technology; and the services of dedicated program success coaches. Qualified students in our A2M programs can receive scholarship funding up to 100% of tuition costs.

Current A2M Programs

• Biotechnology A2M Scholars—Funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), this program helps qualifying students pursue their bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology.
• Roxbury A2M Workforce Accelerator—This unique program provides accelerated educational pathways for biotechnology, healthcare, and information technology students in the Boston area. It is facilitated in partnership with Roxbury Community College and made possible through the U.S. Department of Education’s Congressionally Funded Community Projects grant.
